In a conversation with one of the "Venerable Grand Dignitaries" of the Masonic lodges, I posed a pressing question: "Why don’t you confront the campaigns that tarnish your image? Why not reveal to the public that what is rumored about Freemasonry is pure fantasy, or at the very least, far from the truth?" He replied with a philosophical smile carrying deep implications: "We actually encourage the spread of such misinformation. A great secret is placed in a secure vault; the vault has codes and keys, and it is kept in a hidden location. Thus, the more noise and falsehoods that surround the secret, the more the intruders lose their way."

There is another saying I heard in a meeting that summarizes the essence of Masonic inscriptions and mysteries: "The great philosophers who changed the face of human civilization did not 'stumble upon knowledge on a street corner.' Instead, they delved into the depths of their minds, hearts, and souls, and journeyed far into the mysteries of the universe and humanity in search of truth." This knowledge, which centuries ago was deemed "heresy," is what founded the sociology of nations whose populations now exceed billions yet they move in an organized fashion, rarely colliding, unlike the pre-modern era when populations were small yet lived through daily wars and invasions. Cosmic philosophy is what paved man’s journey to space; social philosophy is what molded modern man; political philosophy built empires upon which the sun never sets; and economic philosophy produced a balance acceptable to both minds and souls.

Since the early 1990s, I have been immersed in the study of several Masonic "inscriptions," and I contributed to creating intellectual frameworks that added greater flexibility to the concepts of "Liberal Freemasonry," its rites, and its degrees. These inscriptions were not mere drawings; they were rigorous working papers studied by Grand Dignitaries in Lebanon and the world to decode their symbols and link their origins to history, Hermeticism, and the Kabbalah. However, in contrast, the Lebanese media landscape today is drowning in utter superficiality.

Dozens of interviews appear discussing Freemasonry, yet unfortunately, the speakers know nothing but the name and a few symbols that have become "common knowledge." They interpret these symbols with blatant ignorance, as if these pundits possess an awareness surpassing the minds that changed the world and belonged to this order—minds like Voltaire, John Locke, Montesquieu, Benjamin Franklin, George Washington, and literary giants like Mark Twain, Oscar Wilde, and Arthur Conan Doyle. We are talking about a list that includes 90% of the global figures who directly influenced the evolution of humanity, yet the Lebanese media portrays them as a group of "amateurs" or naive individuals who were deceived by this ideology.

The media presents people who speak of Freemasonry as if it were a "common club" or a fading idea. At the same time, the same analyst might spend hours praising the genius of Napoleon Bonaparte, forgetting that Napoleon was a Mason who never surpassed the "7th degree." This was not due to any weakness on his part, but because the Masonic elite of the time viewed him as a "man of power and a war leader," whereas the high degrees are traditionally reserved for thinkers and men of profound culture, not merely masters of the sword. When we turn to Arab figures, we find that 90% of the giants who built the Arab Renaissance (Nahda) were Masons. Nevertheless, the media insists on trivializing the subject, as if they are talking about "street vendors" rather than the architects of thought and civilization.

I will reveal a small Masonic secret that illustrates the extent of the historical deception we live in: what is known as the "Solomonic Oath" or the "Berhatiah" invocation. Over four million texts have been written on this subject in the Arabic language alone, and it was mentioned by Avicenna (Ibn Sina), Al-Ghazali, and Ibn Arabi. The Arab and Islamic mind has long depicted it as a ritual for summoning jinn and demons to build the Temple of Solomon.

The truth that the collective mind evades is that the 28 names of the "Berhatiah" are not names of jinn, but rather the names of the "ministers, engineers, and master builders" who constructed the Temple. Because the Arab mind refused to acknowledge the genius of these "Builders" (Masons) and their human capacity for architectural miracles using Lebanese marble and cedar, it attributed the achievement to supernatural forces, turning the names of human professionals into kings of the underworld just to avoid crediting the Masons.

Freemasonry, which established its official constitution in 1717, has roots stretching back far beyond that year. The Knights Templar in 1200 were Masons, and even the Pharaohs carried this thought. In ancient times, when there were no magnetic ID cards or unforgeable identities, it was easy for anyone to forge a letter with a royal seal to reach a governor and obtain what they wanted.

To prevent this, builders created "Operative Masonry" physical movements, secret handshakes (Grips), and complex passwords. This was their "professional identity" that distinguished the master from the novice; it was impossible to forge unless one was a true initiate, and based on this, a builder’s rank and wages were determined.

The difference between those who speak about Freemasonry in our media and the actual truth is like the difference between a "barber" describing a child’s hair and a "geneticist" explaining the DNA structure that formed that human being across ages. Historically, writers described Freemasonry like a "blind man" describing the Mona Lisa. Today, what we see on Lebanese screens is akin to a "mute man" trying to recite the Iliad. In conclusion, the true knowledge of the genesis of religions and the human entity, even the secrets of the "Anunnaki" (which governments are beginning to hint at through the UFO phenomenon) and the metaphysical world, lies within the core of Masonic secrets, of which the world has only been allowed to see the outer husk. Meanwhile, the pundits in our media continue to chirp far away from the truth.
