It’s official — UNRWA USA is humbled to bring our friend and colleague, Palestinian photographer Motaz Azaiza, back to the United States this June for a new leg of his speaking tour: Gaza through My Lens

Motaz’s first US tour brought unforgettable moments to Dallas, Houston, Orange County, NYC, and DC — and next up are:

- Boston, MA – Saturday, June 21

- Philadelphia, PA – Monday, June 23

- Chicago, IL – Wednesday, June 25

- Minneapolis, MN – Friday, June 27

- San Francisco, CA – Monday, June 30

​​​​​​Since evacuating Gaza in 2024, Motaz has become a global advocate — tirelessly traveling anywhere he can get a visa to rally support and end the suffering of his people.

From his start with UNRWA USA as a freelance content producer in early 2023 to having his footage seen by billions, Motaz’s photos and videos from Gaza have ignited a global movement. And now, he’s bringing that momentum back to the US with a second nationwide tour — not just to speak, but to inspire continued American action.

This tour is more than just a series of talks—it’s a fundraiser and a call to action. Each event will be a gathering rooted in culture, solidarity, and purpose, with elements that honor the spirit of Palestine and its people.

Ticket sales will open soon, and when we do, we're asking you to pledge to donate or fundraise for UNRWA USA in support of UNRWA’s life-saving work for Palestinian refugees still living through the unimaginable in Gaza.

Top fundraisers in each city may be invited to a private meet-and-greet with Motaz — a brief moment to say hello and take a photo, in deep respect for Motaz's time, energy, and lived experience as a survivor of what experts know to be a genocide.

We’re also looking for:

Volunteers to support each stop on the tour

Local organizers and community partners to help spread the word and engage new audiences

Motaz’s first-ever US speaking event sold out in just 10 minutes. This tour is expected to be just as popular.
