Generosity is one of the highest forms of human awareness, especially when it is accompanied by joy, without fatigue, pretense, or boasting. It is a positive energy that people share with those around them, drawing happiness from it. True generosity is not about the material value of the gift, but rather about its meaning and the joy it brings—along with the grace and impact of the giver.
One shining example of this is our passionate Minister of Sports, a leader of excellence and innovation—His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal—who has directed the provision of financial rewards amounting to 100,000 SAR for each player from Saudi teams upon reaching the Elite Asian Champions League Final, and 200,000 SAR per player upon securing the championship trophy.
Through this remarkable generosity, Prince Abdulaziz strengthens the participation of Saudi clubs, elevating competition to ensure success and victory. This commitment reflects the patriotism that distinguishes him and his determination to represent Saudi Arabia on the international stage. We will never forget his presence during Al-Nassr’s match—his engagement with every moment, his dedication to all teams, placing impartiality above personal bias. We take pride in him because he has demonstrated responsibility, devotion, and unwavering national loyalty. His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman rightfully granted him the title of "The Passionate One," a name he has validated through numerous inspiring actions.
Congratulations to the Ministry of Sports for having such a distinguished leader, and congratulations to the nation for individuals like him.
Everyone witnessed the Elite Asian Champions League 2024-2025 finals—an event eagerly followed by over 100,000 fans. All eyes were on the headquarters of the Asian Football Confederation in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, where the draw resulted in thrilling clashes between East and West Asian teams. The semi-finalists—Al-Hilal, Al-Ahli, and Al-Nassr—are fully prepared for fierce competition.
No one can deny Saudi football’s dominance at the Asian club level, a supremacy achieved through the support of our wise leadership, encouragement from the Minister of Sports, and the visionary goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
The newly introduced Elite Asian Champions League, replacing the previous Asian Champions League, is a tournament featuring Asia’s strongest and most prestigious clubs. Three Saudi teams—Al-Hilal, Al-Nassr, and Al-Ahli—have competed under the new format, showcasing their superiority through exceptional performances in the tournament. Their remarkable achievements reflect the continuous growth of Saudi football and its undeniable excellence.
In conclusion, best wishes to our Saudi clubs—may the Elite Cup remain in Saudi hands, God willing!
