What we witness in Saudi Arabia today, with its development and prosperity across all sectors, is a source of pride for everyone. One of the topics I wish to highlight is the significant role education plays in the lives of individuals and societies. Education is a cornerstone for building and advancing communities, as it greatly contributes to diversifying people's experiences, refining their skills, and fostering their growth. This ensures the emergence of a generation that recognizes the importance of knowledge and its foundation. Yes, education is the basis upon which civilizations are built and nations flourish.

In this context, the efforts of the Ministry of Education, led by Minister Yusuf Al-Bunyan, hold great promise for excellence and creativity. Recently, we have seen evidence of these efforts in conferences, forums, and initiatives within the Kingdom. Among the most prominent was the Human Capability Initiative (HCI 2025) conference, which serves as a unique global platform aimed at uniting international efforts, enriching global dialogue to shape the future of human capabilities, and building a prosperous global economy.

One of the most inspiring events was the International Education Expo (EDGEx 2025), held in Riyadh from April 13 to 16. This exceptional event surpassed all expectations, with participation from over 25,000 local and international attendees over four days. The attendees included government officials, educational leaders, businesspeople, academics, professionals, and experts in the field of education.

This extraordinary edition of the expo garnered wide international recognition and saw the participation of numerous foreign universities. This success was not accidental but rather the result of carefully planned and systematic efforts to ensure the event reached a distinguished and remarkable level.

Saudi universities also played a significant role with their prominent presence, showcasing pioneering initiatives and innovative projects in the fields of technology and digital transformation. This reflects the commitment of universities to align with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 and to enhance their role in establishing an advanced educational system. Additionally, the event provided opportunities for specialized workshops and enriching discussions through sessions involving a distinguished group of educational institutions, local and international universities, and leading global companies specializing in educational technologies.

Indeed, the expo achieved remarkable success and wide acceptance thanks to the outstanding presentations and participation of its attendees. The Ministry of Education, under the leadership of Minister Yusuf Al-Bunyan, alongside his deputies and agents, utilized this International Education Expo (EDGEx 2025) to contribute to the enhancement and development of education within and beyond Saudi Arabia. They showcased innovative solutions, shared creative ideas, explored the latest educational technologies, and celebrated the achievements of students, educators, and supporters.

Without a doubt, we say thank you to all the efforts striving to elevate and distinguish Saudi Arabia, especially in the field of education. Yes to excellence in education in generous and flourishing Saudi Arabia!
