There is a clear difference between supporting the Palestinian issue today and fifty years or more ago. Half a century ago, there were major poles with countries orbiting around them, and their support was based on the international laws issued on this issue.
Today's support, and the use of meta-narratives has increased, and it is fueled by the self-financing Brotherhood movement to inflate its money, assets, and influence.
This movement has been able to recruit many leftists and liberal anarchists, or so-called liberals, not to mention planting members in this Congress, that Parliament, or human rights associations. In the west. Without forgetting those who support the question of Palestine, whether they are kind-hearted, sympathizers, or ignorant of its secrets, among those who care about it remaining alive for the sake of power and profit from trade in it
Many cards entered the game; The card of religion, the card of human rights, the card of wailing and oppression, and the most dangerous of the cards is the card of postponing the comprehensive peace process with Israel by powerful Islamic countries, to provide relief to a region that has not seen rest for fifteen centuries
Old and New
Lebanon's plight began with Maronite/Palestinian armed clashes, due to the Maronite refusal to settle the Palestinians and establish their republic in Lebanon, and the extension of the PLO's authority from Lebanon's southern borders, as stipulated in the “Cairo Agreement”, to the siege of Beirut with camps and the establishment of the "Fakahani Arafat Republic" in western Beirut, then This rightful war developed among the Maronites, following President Sadat’s visit to Jerusalem, and turned into wars to postpone the peace process. The game changed for its new princes, from refusing to settle the Palestinians in Lebanon and establishing their republic, to postponing the comprehensive peace process initiated by President Sadat.
The postponement process that took place in the 1970s by Syria and the axis of steadfastness, confrontation and challenge is exactly like what Iran is doing now through its armed terrorist groups. Hamas, the Houthis, and Hezbollah, after the Saudi/Israeli rapprochement in recent years, to reach a comprehensive and realistic solution for the Palestinians away from conflicting narratives that are interpreted even by those who believe in them themselves.
The Deal of the century
The United States of America withdrew from the formal, non-serious peace processes after the failure of all American administrations to find a solution. The best of them was what was reached by the administration of President Bill Clinton, which established the agreement of the pillars of the two-state solution, which Yasser Arafat evaded from signing on the morning of the celebration.
The administration of President Donald Trump decided to intervene effectively and realistically to impose a solution that was called in Western circles One State Reality, a “de facto state.” There is an existing state on the ground, which is Israel, within which expanded autonomy is granted in some places in the West Bank to the Palestinians. The Gaza Strip is dealt with separately from the West Bank, and it may be annexed to Sinai, or become under Egyptian sovereignty as it has been since the establishment of the State of Israel until 1967, as some political analyzes claim.
It is true that the “Deal of the Century” bypassed international resolutions such as Security Council Resolutions 242 and 338, and other resolutions related to the Palestinian issue and the status of Jerusalem, but President Trump justified the “Deal of the Century” and his decision to declare Jerusalem the capital of Israel, by saying that he relied on sustainable facts that are impossible to ignore on the ground.
What is certain is that the lack of intention and will on the Palestinian side for a realistic solution to the problem, making concessions and accepting what happened on the ground and not what was stated in narratives, not to mention their lack of importance (the Palestinians) economically or internationally to the Middle East and the world, has also helped Trump undermine the foundations on which it was built. The Oslo Accords, which America sponsored. why not? Yasser Arafat himself described it as “Treaty of al-Hudaybiya”, which means that it is a temporary process that he will evade when circumstances permit or a trumpet is called for the Day of Resurrection!
The new American vision for “the issue,” as Arabic speakers call it, began with President Trump resolving the most important and dangerous issues of heavenly disputes between the two sides on the ground, dealing with reality and declaring Jerusalem the capital of Israel, and with the logic of recognizing the reality created by the procrastinating Palestinians who rely on narratives, linguistic rhetoric, enthusiasm, and mobilization. By debt, the demand for the return of six million refugees to historic Palestine has become impossible, as has the case for removing the settlements in the West Bank, which President Anwar Sadat advised them to negotiate while they were empty lands in 1978, in conjunction with his negotiations regarding Sinai, but the Palestinian leaders preferred “semiotic jihad” to numb the Their people, and profit from the continuation of the issue.
Instruments of Indulgence
There are countries today, because of the blood in Gaza, that have begun to return to the logic of illusions instead of reality. The meeting of foreign ministers of the G20 countries in Brazil witnessed an agreement in opinion on the need for a two-state solution as the only way to achieve peace in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
The Canadian Parliament also voted on a non-binding resolution calling on the international community to work to reach a two-state solution to end the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. The vote was postponed due to last-minute disagreements over wording that supports the establishment of a Palestinian state.
United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres stressed the need for the international community to throw its weight behind the two-state solution to end the Palestinian-Israeli conflict once and for all. It is incomprehensible how Guterres forgot that the two-state solution and its map in the White House archives had been rejected by the Palestinians for more than a quarter of a century!
President Macron escalated his tone in a phone call with Netanyahu, and once again opposed any Israeli attack on Rafah and forced population transfer, which constitutes a war crime. Macron called for a sustainable and immediate ceasefire in Gaza.
Intentionally or inadvertently?
It is absolutely incomprehensible that the aforementioned and others did not pressure Ismail Haniyeh to return the prisoners. Hence, Netanyahu becomes in a difficult international situation in which he cannot continue military operations, and things return to what they were like in terms of a sustainable ceasefire in Gaza.
The above-mentioned intentionally or inadvertently forgot who started the bullying, kidnapping civilians, and raping women, and they did not raise their censure against him, but rather they raised it against the one who used the excessive force at his disposal to return the prisoners and the bodies of the dead, amid very suspicious procrastination from “Hamas” that encourages Israel to carry out more military operations in Gaza.
These operations allow Hamas leaders to politically blackmail, raise the frequency of their mercenaries’ howling in the West, and continue organized economic plundering of countries to help resolve the “issue,” and fill the pockets of Palestinian leaders with money, to manage and amplify their businesses in Qatar, Turkey, and the West.
With prosperity and children
Who told the G20 and Guterres that Hamas would accept these political indulgences? Or with the two-state solution and forget the illusion of propaganda of making money and profiting from the slogan “liberating Palestine from the river to the sea.”
Political indulgences due to the blood and victims will not be bought by even a single Palestinian, because the hostility of the Jews is in the genes of the non-Jews who live in the Middle East through inheritance, indoctrination, and chanting, even though their God is the same one.
Do the G20 and the liberal, anarchist Trudeau realize that the October 7 operation does not aim to liberate Palestine from the river to the sea, because this is impossible, but rather to postpone a realistic peace process between an existing, recognized Israeli state, and a powerful Islamic state, which is Saudi Arabia, from which fragmented Palestinians will benefit, instead of leaders? Palestinians profiting from the tragedy of their people, and do not agree among themselves on anything?
False leaders promote the elimination of Israel as a sacred religious obligation and call on Muslims to go to Palestine for jihad because God and His angels will support them.
On the ground, we have not seen any Islamic movements toward Gaza, and Israel’s operations and the devastation inflicted on the people of Gaza confirm that supernatural beings do not support the resistance of the tunnels.
At the same time, Rafah is besieged and the people of Gaza are sleeping in the open, and Western countries are printing political indulgences, sending aid, and selling it to Hamas. Videos of the eighth marriage of the one who declared holy jihad on the eve of October 7, 2023, are rumored and published on social media, Ismail Haniyeh (his declared wealth is about five billion dollars), and he announced while receiving congratulations that he will meet his wedding guests in Gaza, God willing, and “there is no recognition of the State of Israel.” ".
A black comedy that its believers still believe and accuse of betrayal by those who enlighten them to wake them from their delusions, with continuous loud applause, blind obedience to the indifferent mercenaries, and an implicit blessing for Haniyeh’s marriage (if it is true) because it falls within the scope of the “population bomb” that Yusuf al-Qaradawi called for.
