The reality of what is happening in Saudi Arabia in terms of development and prosperity and the efforts made by the Crown Prince makes everyone happy and optimistic about what they see and witness in the Kingdom of Peace
Here is the Vision 2030 being achieved day after day, as His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince, Prime Minister, Chairman of the Supreme Committee for Transport and Logistics Services - may God protect him - launched the master plan for logistics centers, which aims to develop the infrastructure of the logistics sector in the Kingdom, diversify the local economy, and enhance the Kingdom’s position as a leading investment destination and a global logistics center, and a source of amazement for the entire world and for citizens, joy, and happiness.
The fact that the launch of the master plan for logistics centers is considered an extension of a large package sought by the leadership and the ongoing initiatives, which are among the targets of the National Strategy for Transport and Logistics Services, which aims to develop the logistics sector to support economic growth and develop local, regional and international links to international trade networks and global supply chains, in addition to strengthening partnership with the private sector and expanding job creation opportunities, and consolidating the Kingdom’s position as a global logistics center, as it is distinguished by its geographical location that connects three of the most important continents in the world (Asia, Europe, and Africa).
This is what the Crown Prince confirmed, and anyone who contemplates this general plan will see that it includes (59) logistics centers with a total area exceeding (100) million square meters, including (12) logistics centers for the Riyadh region, (12) logistics centers for the Makkah Al-Mukarramah region, (17) logistics centers for the Eastern Region, and (18) logistics centers in the rest of the Kingdom’s regions, where work is currently underway in (21) centers, with all centers to be completed by 2030.
The fact that the Kingdom achieved a new accomplishment in the transportation and logistics system last April after jumping (17) ranks globally in the Logistics Index issued by the World Bank, where it advanced to the 38th rank out of (160) countries in the international ranking in the Logistics Efficiency Index, indicates the distinction enjoyed by the Kingdom and its strong desire to excel, as the National Strategy for Transportation and Logistics aims to bring the Kingdom to the list of the best (10) countries globally within the Logistics Performance Index by the year 2030.
We repeat (May you remain proud, my country)
