BEIRUT: Military Investigative Judge Fadi Sawwan Thursday indicted four men over their alleged links to militant organizations, state media reported.

The National News Agency said Sawwan issued two indictments against two Lebanese and two Syrians.

The first charge accused Lebanese Alaa Amoun, his brother Abdul Hakim and Syrian Nayef Zeneddine of belonging to ISIS and attempting to carry out attacks in the northeastern town of Asral.

The second decision accused Syrian Raed Mansour Mansour of belonging to ISIS and planning to carry out attacks in the Bekaa Valley town of Saadnayel.

Mansour was also accused of transporting money and an explosive belt from Syria to Lebanon for ISIS.

Sawwan referred the four suspects to the Military Tribunal to be sentenced.
