Kuwaiti European Holding (KEH), the investment vehicle of the wealthy Al-Humaidi family, has become the biggest investor in WH Ireland

It traces its roots back to 1872, when William Henry Ireland started stockbroking in Manchester. Now 144 years later, WH Ireland, one of the oldest names in British broking, has signalled it will turns its focus towards the Middle East after a Kuwaiti investor spent £8.5m snapping up almost a quarter of the company.
